Den Möllenhof lets guests bring their own horse or pony: we have 10 to 14 stalls and several pastures. The ultimate holiday for horse lovers, together with the family or friends. Our Jonkersweg homes are on this same park, so you sleep within walking distance of your horse.

Stabling & care
10 to 14 stalls
Your horse stays in a fresh box bedded with flax, with daily turnout on one of the pastures.
Care included
We look after your horse during your stay: roughage several times a day and concentrate twice daily, tailored to your wishes.
Trailer, carriage and tack
Storage for your trailer and, if you bring one, your carriage, plus spacious lockable tack lockers.
Routes on map and GPX
We have a range of routes ready, on paper and as GPX files, for hours of riding and driving.
Riding in the National Landscape
Hours of riding along the water and over the many sand tracks of the Winterswijk National Landscape, straight through the hedgerow countryside. Nearby there is a cross-country forest with obstacles and a water jump, and you can gallop over the sand hills of the Rommelgebergte recreation area.
Winterswijk is a horse village
Ride along in the annual four-day horse event, a much-loved fixture: four evenings discovering Winterswijk and its hamlets on horseback or by carriage. There are also driving marathons, cross-country events and ridden competitions, and in November the traditional drag hunt. Equestrian sport all year round.
KNHS PaardenWelkom label
Under the PaardenWelkom label the Dutch equestrian federation KNHS collects the places where horse lovers and their horses are genuinely welcome. Den Möllenhof has been awarded this plaque.
Good to know
Your horse must be vaccinated and free of disease; please bring its passport. Ask us for stabling rates and stall availability, and we will reserve the stall together with your holiday home.
By the Hilgelo lake: Jonkersweg, Den Möllenhof
Three homes side by side on the Den Möllenhof holiday park in Winterswijk Meddo, a few minutes from the Hilgelo lake with its little beach and walking paths. All three sleep six and have their own sauna.

Our third home on Jonkersweg at Den Möllenhof, sleeping six and with its own sauna. A roomy living room with a gas fireplace in a black marble surround, a covered veranda with a lounge set and a garden terrace among the birches.
